About Me
Hi there! My name is Deanna and I would like to welcome you to 27 Pine Design. I have been expressing myself through design and visual creativity for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my sisters and I were constantly redesigning our bedrooms, creating floor plans, sketching and moving furniture, and with the grace of our parents, painting our rooms in our favorite colors as an even larger expression of who we were and who we were becoming.
Born and raised in Maryland, I moved to Astoria Queens, NY after college to pursue a theatre career. I met my now husband shortly after. After spending over a decade in Astoria, we moved an hour north of NYC to Yorktown Heights, NY where we live with our 3 children who we adore beyond words. The 3 pine trees in my logo represent them. It was during this transition of creating a home, a safe place for my family that my love for styling and designing interiors flourished. It continues to bring me back to when I was a little girl and what my parents created for my sisters and myself.
In the summer of 2020, I began my interior design journey and in the spring of 2022, I graduated with a certification from The Interior Design Institute. Shortly after, I started my interior styling business.
In addition to 27 Pine Design, I run my etsy shop, 27 Pine & Co where I make handmade leather bows, home accessories, and digital styling downloads.
This is a quick version of my story. I believe that our homes tell stories of who we are. They tell where we come from and how we have evolved on our life’s journey. Every home tells a story. I am here to help you tell yours.
